Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is very important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide
this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can
make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice
easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where
personally identifiable information may be requested.
TRUSTe
Fortnight is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program.
TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build
user’s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair
information practices. This privacy statement covers the site
www.fortnight-solutions.com. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its
commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices
and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe. If you have
questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should first contact our
Network Coordinator at
Network.Coordinator@fortnight-solutions.com. If you do not receive
acknowledgement of your inquiry or your inquiry has not been satisfactorily
addressed, you should contact TRUSTe at

then serve as a liaison with us to resolve your concerns.

How We Use Information

Presenting to a client your name as potential consultant or expert witness.
-
Making any changes in this privacy policy.
If you would like your resume or related information be made available to
clients without contacting you directly each and every time we suggest you as a
potential consultant or expert witness, you must explicitly opt-in during the

We use your phone number and e-mail address (1) to contact you to verify your

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to describe our network’s

that could be used to identify those individuals unless they give Fortnight
explicit authorization to do so, as described above. We also use such

Cookies
Some parts of our website make extensive use of cookies. A cookie is a small
text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We
use two types of cookies on this site: session ID cookies and (optionally)
persistent cookies.
We use session ID cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A
session ID cookie is created when you log in to your Expert account and is
deleted when you log out. Should you forget to log out, every session ID cookie
expires when you close your browser. Session ID cookies contain no personally
identifiable information.
We use persistent cookies to store username and passphrase information so you
don’t have to enter it each time you visit our site. A persistent cookie is set
only if you choose “Save credentials for next time” from the Login page. All
information stored within this persistent cookie is encrypted to further
protect your privacy.
A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time.
You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your
Internet browser’s “help” file.
If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some
areas of our site, specifically interacting with Requests and Leads, will be
severely limited.
Log Files
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and
store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP)
addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages,
operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze
trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and
to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We do not
link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter
sensitive information such as your name and contact information or any
interactions with Requests and Leads, we encrypt that information using secure
socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal
information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage,
is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially
acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its
absolute security.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as
required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our
rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process
served on our Web site.
Changes To This Privacy
Statement
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this
privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so that
you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what
circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please
review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will
notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our home page.
