Corporate Experts – those who participate on behalf of their employer – can find new sources of revenue through Fortnight at no cost. The products and services your company offers may be the solution to a posted Request ultimately being sold to a client of Fortnight. In other cases, your company may be able to sell or license underutilized intellectual capital, or even some trade secrets, to a Fortnight client.

As you read a client's Request, if you think you know who can offer a good solution, submit a Lead on-line. It's simple and easy to do and should take only a little time. Checking with your friends and contacts to see if they have a likely lead is also an excellent method to find a Lead to submit. If the client decides to pursue your Lead in greater depth, you may choose to spend more time researching the solution and receive significantly more compensation (typically several thousand dollars).

Each Expert determines how much time he or she can spend responding to each Request. Moreover, providing a Lead in response to a Request may require only a short amount of time – as little as 5 minutes. We understand that Fortnight Experts probably maintain employment at a third party, and that family and other demands on each Expert's schedule may restrict the amount of time you can dedicate to Fortnight.

At Fortnight, you choose how, when, and to whom your information is released. We will contact you direclty before:

• presenting to a client any Lead you have submitted.
• presenting to a client your name as potential consultant or expert witness.
• making any changes in this privacy policy.

If you would like your resume or related information be made available to clients without contacting you directly each and every time we suggest you as a potential consultant or expert witness (such as during a database search), you must indicate this explicitly during the sign-up proceedure.

You choose how often you receive e-mails about client Requests (a part of the sign-up). mike

You choose whether or not to respond to a Request.

If a client wishes to hire you as a consultant or expert witness, you determine your pay rate and negotiate directly with the client.

Unlike many consulting or other expert-based companies, Fortnight does not take any cut or percentage from our Experts’ payments.

Yes! We are constantly searching for additional experts who want to participate in our Network. To reward you for helping expand our network, you receive 10% of the revenue that Fortnight earns from the first year’s efforts of any Experts who you refer. Just make sure they mention your name during their signup (to ensure you receive appropriate credit)!
